Ziqin Gong

I am currently a first-year PhD student of AI Thrust at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), advised by Prof. Jun Wang. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology (IEEE Honor Class) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University under the supervision of Prof. Weinan Zhang.

Research interests

○ LLM Reasoning

Despite their impressive achievements across diverse domains, Large Language Models (LLMs) have struggled with logical reasoning. However, the recent development of even more advanced reasoning-capable models suggests that this aspect of LLMs has considerable untapped potential for further exploration and improvement.
